A grown up Christmas

This year was the second year in a row that I didn't see my family for Christmas. I worked all day on Christmas Eve and then spent the next two days at my in-laws, eating, drinking, and playing with our neice and nephews. I really felt like an adult. I wasn't eating the Hakanson Christmas traditional food, there were no exciting presents to open, and I didn't go to any form of Church. There really wasn't any excitement at all except to watch the kids who were so excited to open presents. It certainly wasn't a bad Christmas by any means, but I just can't beleive how much life has changed in the last couple of years.
